About Namibia Tartan
One of the 'Tartans for Africa' collection created to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Scotland and Namibia and to generate income for community enterprise and humanitarian projects. The design incorporates the colours in the flags of the two nations. This tartan was designed in 2006 and launched by Namibian-Scots to celebrate 40 years of independence on 26th August 2006 ‘Namibia Day’.
