About Wimbledon Tartan
Designed by David McGill of International Tartans. Originally designed in 1999 for a company called IT Sports in Derbyshire, woven and made up into a range of products embroidered with the word 'Wimbledon'. The corporate colours of the Lawn Tennis Association were used in the design, but it was always intended as a fundraiser for tennis worldwide.
