Angola Tartan

One of the 'Tartans for Africa’ collection created to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Scotland and Angola and to generate income for community enterprise and humanitarian projects. As with many of our Tartans for Africa collection it involved multicultural and refugee organisations in Edinburgh and Glasgow. This tartan was designed in 2007, it incorporates the colours in the flags of the two nations. As with many of our Tartans for Africa collection it involved multicultural and refugee organisations in Edinburgh and Glasgow. It was launched in Glasgow at the Tartans for Africa Fashion Show at Strathclyde University in 2008.
