Botswana Tartan

The Botswana Tartan is part of the 'Tartans for Africa' collection, an initiative created to fortify the bonds of friendship between Scotland and Botswana. This collection also plays a crucial role in generating income for community enterprises and humanitarian projects.
Designed in 2006, the Botswana Tartan commemorates the 40th anniversary of Botswana's Independence. The design incorporates the colours of both national flags along with yellow, a pan-African colour symbolizing hope.
