Netherlands (Oranje Huis) Tartan

This tartan was originally designed in 2013 but not officially launched until 2017 when the Netherlands played host to the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017. International Tartans created the ‘Oranje Huis’ tartan as Scotland’s homage to their Dutch friends,  a celebration of Scotland’s profound economic and cultural engagement and shared history with the Flemish and Dutch people that dates back to the 15^th Century. 
Mandy van den Berg captained the Netherlands and Manager Arjen van der Laan, with an ‘Oranje Huis’ tartan scarves and ties were worn, as the team made it to victory in the Championships.

This tartan design incorporates the traditional orange of the Netherlands with the red, white and blue of the Dutch National Flag  - the blue also reflects the Scottish Saltire.
